I wrote this a few years ago. The comments were mostly constructive, although some people missed the point. A few people successfully solved the homework assignment at the end, which made me happy.

Meta question: are people interested in more physics-y posts on this site? I’ve been meaning to write up more articles such as this, and I’d be happy to xpost them here.

So, speaking for myself only, about what I would read, rather than about what I want to see on the site: I would like to see physics-y posts, but on the other hand the actual post you linked went over my head. So it seems like the stuff I’d want to see would have to be substantially more dumbed-down, and I suspect you would not have fun writing that!

P.S.: Unrelatedly and out of curiosity—where would you be posting such posts? LW? Or do you have a blog or something?

GitHub most likely. Possibly make something on youtube similar to 3 blue 1 brown, although it’s hard to match their production value. Haven’t decided on details.

Ok. Consider a wiki/blogwiki on OborWiki (we have MathJax!) as a possible alternative.
